Common questions
How much does a company tax return cost in Australia?+
For a small Pty Ltd with clean books, expect roughly $1,100–$2,600 for the annual company tax return and financial statements. It rises with revenue and transaction volume, and if the accountant also has to tidy the bookkeeping first.
Why is a company return more expensive than a personal one?+
A company return comes with a full set of financial statements, a reconciled trial balance, Division 7A and director-loan checks, and ASIC obligations — substantially more work than an individual return, and more professional risk.
Does the price include bookkeeping and BAS?+
Usually not by default. If your books aren't reconciled, the accountant has to do that before the return, which adds cost — the calculator lets you include bookkeeping catch-up, quarterly BAS and payroll so the estimate reflects the full engagement.
