Our story
We started TopAccountantsAustralia because choosing an accountant is one of the more consequential professional decisions Australians make — yet most directories rank whoever pays the most. Business owners, investors and SMSF trustees were left sorting through advertising dressed up as advice.
We built something different: a directory where standing comes from verified client reviews and credential checks— TPB registration, CPA Australia and CA ANZ membership, and ABN verification — not advertising spend. Each quarter, our “Top Rated Accountant” awards recognise the best-reviewed accountants by suburb and by service, judged on reviews alone. And for those who don’t know where to start, our matching quiz pairs businesses, high earners and investors, SMSF trustees, and individuals with accountants suited to their situation.
The Platform is free for anyone searching. Accountants can claim their listing at no cost, and may optionally pay for enhanced visibility — which is always disclosed and never affects reviews, ratings or awards. We’re proudly Australian-built and independent.
